Muna brings 20+ years of experience growing organisations and nurturing driven, agile, and resilient teams in both the corporate and the non-profit sector, with a deep commitment to meaningful results.
As a former CEO of a charitable foundation and sales executive at Procter and Gamble, Muna has over 20 years of strategic and operational experience. She has taken an organisation through its life cycle, building it from a start-up to deliver impact at global scale. She has developed and implemented new strategies, pivoted whole operations and teams, managed complex organisational change, including mergers, and nurtured a working culture that ensured staff retention.
Muna has overseen the development of collaborative and participatory grant-making programmes with global reach, supporting frontline grassroots organisations with flexible funding. She has also worked closely with an engaged Founder, managed a diverse board of Trustees, and handled a wide array of stakeholder relationships at all levels. Throughout her work she has championed locally led change by supporting grassroots NGO leaders and activists.
In her earlier private sector career, Muna worked at Procter & Gamble, overseeing market-leading product portfolios in the UK retail and wholesale sectors, and co-managing the graduate training programme for the UK Sales division.
Educated at the London School of Economics, Muna holds a BSc (Hon) in Management and speaks four languages. She is a Trustee of Global Dialogue, a Governor of Miles Coverdale Primary School, and a Regional Judge for the $1million Hult Prize. She is the proud mother of two girls and is invested in helping to build a more just future for them.
