Research & Engagement

We help our clients identify, understand and engage their stakeholders in order to make informed decisions and achieve the best possible results.

Understanding context, trends, motivations and perspective is fundamentally important for effective decision making, whether this relates to markets, socio-environmental issues, consumers, supporters or opinion leaders.

We therefore draw on a range of research skills and methodologies — including desk, qualitative and quantitative research — to help our clients not only secure information, but extract the value hidden in true insights.

We have robust processes and well-established teams and networks which enable us to undertake international research of various types and complexities.

Our research services include:

  • Undertaking benchmarking studies to help our clients establish their position on a range of issues.
  • Planning and conducting surveys, interviews, focus groups or moderated discussions to help inform strategy, campaigns, product innovations or review performance.
  • Identifying and helping clients build and deploy stakeholder engagement processes.

Recent projects have included:

  • Helping BSkyB benchmark its 'Bigger Picture' platforms.
  • Undertaking quantitative research involving audiences in 100 countries, supported by depth interviews across 20 counries and 5 regions to help UNICEF assess awareness, perceptions and learning points for one of its key global initiatives.
  • Helping one of the world's top 5 universal banks assess the scale of its socio-environmental investments against the market.
  • Creating and moderating a series of opinion leader discussion groups to enable our client to understand the level of appetite for 'post-Copenhagen' environmental innovation.

In delivering our research our emphasis is always on helping our clients secure maximum value from unlocking true insights.
