Veronica is a corporate responsibility and organisational change consultant (MSc Ashridge, UK) with a long-standing international background. Her work has been defined by being a driver for innovation and change facilitation, based on a participative approach engaging people throughout and across organisations.
A key focus of Veronica's work is on CR as a long-term, whole organisation change initiative and a strategic way of doing business. As Senior Associate of The Partnering Initiative at the International Business Leaders Forum, she also accompanies partnerships between business, government and civil society organizations, both as a facilitator and a mediator, and she teaches introductory courses in Corporate Responsibility.
As Senior Manager in Nokia's global Corporate Responsibility team, Veronica successfully developed and managed Nokia's then-US$ 20 million global community involvement program focused on youth development in more than 20 countries and its global employee volunteering initiative with thousands of employees in more than 30 countries participating. Her responsibilities included global external and internal stakeholder communications and engagement, cross-sector partnership relations, cause-related marketing activities, programme evaluation and reporting, and capacity building within a global corporate-NGO partnership network.
Veronica holds dual Canadian and German citizenship, and is fluent in English, French and German. She and her partner live close to nature in the German countryside near Düsseldorf and Cologne, from where she travels frequently to work with clients in different countries.
Veronica is co-author of the acclaimed book Corporate Community involvement - The Definitive Guide to maximizing Your Business' Societal Engagement (Greenleaf Publishing 2010).
