Rosalind Oakley

Ros Oakley has wide ranging experience working in and with the voluntary sector with experience in public policy, governance, strategy and  fundraising.  She has a particular  interest in effectiveness and sustainability.

Ros' recent projects include an evaluation project for the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations (ACEVO); a corporate citizenship strategy for a top ten charity; a measurement framework for a major utility company; and projects for Capacitybuilders.

She recently co-wrote the Good Guide to Trading (Published by NCVO June 2009). She has also  written the Mentoring for Chairs guide for the Governance Hub (2007) and was co-author of the Good Practice in Trustee Recruitment (NCVO 2006).

Prior to becoming a consultant, Ros was Project Director of  the DTI backed sustainability project SIGMA where she worked with leading companies; Acting Director of the Institute of Charity Fundraising Managers (now Institute of Fundraising) and Assistant Director of External Relations at the RNIB.  Ros has an MBA from the London Business School.

Ros is Chair of Charities Evaluation Services.  She is also an associate of the governance practice at Cass Business School's Centre for Charity Effectiveness, and a visiting fellow at London South Bank University. She is a founder member of Net Impact London Professional, a network of professionals committed to using the power of business for social and environmental benefit.
