Manny Amadi moderated a highly interactive panel session with CR leaders from eBay, Boots, Acelor Mittal, Molson Coors and Tui Travel PLC at Convention 2011 - one of the largest gatherings of NGO specialists in Europe.
As a leading gathering of NGO's in Europe, Convention 2011 was a high-octane fest of learning, information exchange, reflection and future-scoping, with charity CEO's joining their fundraising colleagues to contribute and learn from sessions ranging from strategic leadership to all aspects of fundraising and income generation.
Meet the Leaders was one of the highlights of the convention - particularly for those interested in business and society issues or cross-sector collaborations. The session provides delegates with an opportunity to put their questions to some of Europe's leading CR practitioners and companies - and the decision makers behind some of the most successful cross-sector partnerships.
The panelists were;
- Jane Ashton, Director of Group Sustainable Development — Tui Travel PLC
- Carrie Bienkowski, European Head of Sustainability and Charity - eBay
- Nick Lakin, Head of Corporate Responsibility and Commercial Communications - Molson Coors Brewing Company
- Oonagh Turnbull, Head of CSR - Charity and Community — Boots
- Charlotte Wolff, Head of Corporate Responsibility — Arcelor Mittal
From the effects of the economic climate, innovations in CR, capitalism 2.0, to learnings from partnerships, panelists were challenged to tell it like it is, unscripted, as part of a healthy dialogue.
