Is Collaboration the New Competition?

Breakfast Dialogue: 25th February 2010, RSA in London

In the current recessionary climate, with great pressures on limited resources and the continuing need to build and harness trust and brand reputation, collaboration has emerged as a vital strategy for driving innovation as well as creating enduring social, environmental and shareholder value. This was the conclusion reached by participants at the C&E breakfast dialogue session held on 25th February.

Co-chaired by Lucy Carver, Director of The Bigger Picture at BSkyB and Manny Amadi, CEO of C&E, the session represented an opportunity for a deep and informed exploration of the challenges, opportunities and trends in transformative collaborations between same-sector and / or cross- sector organizations.

Participants in the session were executives from a range of organizations, including eBay, Santander, Allianz Insurance, Oxfam, Sony Music, Save The Children, Virgin Unite, The Climate Group, BT and Arcelor Mittal.
