The C&E Corporate-NGO Partnerships Barometer

The C&E Corporate-NGO Partnerships Barometer

Cross sector partnerships are important to businesses and NGOs and are set to become more important over the next three years. And despite uncertainties about the econic climate, 90% of survey respondents expect to increase their investments in partnerships over the same timescale.

These are some of the findings of The C&E Corporate-NGO Partnerships Barometer 2010. Published on 2nd November, this will be the first in a series of annual, practitioner-led barometers providing definitive information on Corporate-NGO collaborations and partnerships.

The report is based mainly on an online survey of practitioners from 114 leading Companies and NGOs engaged in cross-sector partnership, as well as a series of depth interviews with a smaller number of organisations.

The 2010 C&E Barometer of Corporate-NGO Partnerships pin-points current practice as well as the expectations, drivers, key trends and changing practices in cross-sector partnerships. It also identifies points of dissonance and alignment between companies and NGOs regarding the partnering agenda. Additionally, the report highlights the Stars - the most admired partnerships and partnering organisations.

In short, the Barometer unearths rich insights which will enable both NGO and corporate practitioners to make informed decisions and investments in this increasingly important area.
